EMBRACE update for week of June 12th 2017: Librarians, Hospitals and More YouTube

Last week has been a busy week for EMBRACE:
We were informed that the Annals of Internal Medicine accepted our letter to the editor for print. The letter was in response to an Ideas and Opinions piece entitled “Single-Payer Reform: The Only Way to Fulfill the President’s Pledge of More Coverage, Better Benefits, and Lower Costs” (Here is a link). You can preview the print version of the letter by clicking the ‘comments’ section.
EMBRACE was presented at the Connecticut Association of Health Science Libraries’ June Meeting, and a 40 minutes YouTube presentation of EMBRACE has already received 60 views and 13 shares.
Some viewers asked for a shorter version that is more focused on the proposal and its advantages, so there is now a 26 minute version of the video entitled: “Short EMBRACE- The Single System (not Single Payer) Healthcare System (abridged)”, that can be viewed here.
Please watch and share.
This week we will be meeting with representatives dealing with government affairs issues for the Yale New Haven Health System- that represents 5 hospitals in southern New England.
